This is stock Android 4.4 (Kit Kat) messaging application for SMS and MMS messages are now available for 4.1+ (Jelly Bean), including Android 5.0 (popsicle) devices as well! This application is available only from Google on Google Play Edition or Nexus devices. Important for the Moto GP bikes and E Members Note: If you disable the default application messages that come with the phone in the system -> Applications will not applications other SMS messages work. You need to leave the application messages that came with your phone installed and active for other messaging applications for work or will encounter send and receive messages errors.
